On the evening of June 19, the Golden Goblet Awards Ceremony of the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival (赌博app) was held in Shanghai Cultural Square.
Performing artists Wang Xiaotang, Xie Fang, Zhu Xijuan, Liang Boluo, Da Shichang, Tong Zirong, and Zheng Dali, the son of the famous director Zheng Junli, appeared on the stage of the ceremony, sharing their indissoluble bond with film art with the audience, and jointly expressed their original aspiration and mission as well as the faith of “always accompanying China’s film industry to conquer to journey ahead”. Zhou Huilin, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Publicity Department of Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Xu Zezhou, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, and Chen Tong, Deputy Mayor, attended the event.

Wang Xiaotang: A spark that shed light on the lands all over the world
“I am Wang Xiaotang, the player of Jinhuan and Yinhuan in ‘Struggles in an Ancient City’. I am 87 years old. And I think the cause of film art is like a spark that shed light on the lands all over the world...” On the stage, Wang Xiaotang emotionally described her experience in filming. She started her career in 1955 and has been engaged in acting, screenwriting, and directing. She was also the former director of August First Film Studio. In the film “Struggles in an Ancient City” released in 1963, Wang Xiaotang viscerally captured the insidious workers of the Communist Party of China Jin Huan and Yin Huan with superb acting skills. The film also became a milestone in her film career. In 2015, Wang Xiaotang won the 30th Golden Rooster Award for Lifetime Achievement.
Xie Fang: Classic red melodies will be sounded from generation to generation
Whether it is Lin Daojing in “Song of Youth” or Tao Lan in “Early Spring”, Xie Fang has successfully played multiple intellectual images with her exquisit acting skills and become the screen spokesperson for intellectual women. In 2015, Xie Fang was awarded the 15th Golden Phoenix Award for Lifetime Achievement. And in 2016, Xie Fang won the 33rd Hundred Flowers Award for Lifetime Achievement. Speaking of the classic “Song of Youth” which tells the story of intellectual youths embarking on a revolutionary path, 86-year-old Xie Fang said: “The centennial Communist Party of China is just at its prime time, and the classic red melodies will be sounded from generation to generation.”
Zhu Xijuan: To meet the future with China’s film art
“Go forward, go forward, the women shoulders the mission as soldiers and bear in mind their misery...” This song familiar to us is from the classic film “The Red Detachment of Women” starring performance artist Zhu Xijuan. In 1962, Zhu Xijuan won the first Hundred Flowers Award for Best Actress for her role as the heroine Wu Qionghua in this film. In the same year, she was awarded the title of “The People's Actress of the People’s Republic of China” by the former Ministry of Culture and became the youngest among the “Top 22 Film Stars after the Founding of the People’s Republic of China”. On the stage, Zhu Xijuan firmly stated, “I will move forward with China’s film art to meet future, alwayd.”
Liang Poluo: Fight for Chinese film all my life
"I am Liang Boluo, and I am also the player of the 'little boss' in “Depot No 51”. Being 83 years old this year, he, hale and hearty, spoke loudly on stage. In 1961, Liang Polo starred in the film “Depot No 51” which is about the story that the underground organization of the Communist Party of China transports military supplies to support the Suzhong anti-japanese base. In the film, the lines, “How many screws are there on the ship?” “A total of 356 nails”, are well known by the audience. Speaking of the bond between him and Chinese film, Liang Boluo was extremely emotional: “I am a screw on the huge ship of Chinese film, and I am willing to fight for it for the rest of my life.”
Da Shichang: Revolutionaries are always young
He is Lin Yusheng in “The Young Generation” and Lin Hanhua in “Come Home Swallow”. The 81-year-old Da Shichang has created classic screen images that are elegant, gentle and sunny one after another. In 2017, the China Film Art Direction Academy awarded him the “Special Honor Award” in recognition of his contribution to Chinese film. Tonight, Da Shichang, who has been away from the screen for a long time, appeared on the stage again in good spirits as ever. He said: “Revolutionaries are always young. And I’ll still fight for Chinese film.”
Tong Zirong: Contribute to the sound art of China
As a famous dubbing actor of Shanghai Dubbing Studio, Tong Zirong has presented multiple excellent dubbing works to the audience. Among them, the “tone” for “Zorro” was the most impressive one. At the ceremony, Tong Zirong told of his love for China’s film dubbing industry with his unique voice: “I am 78 years old! I am very happy that I can open the world of film for everyone with my voice and contribute to the sound art of China!"
Zheng Dali: Inherit the film dream of the elder generation
As a representative of the Chinese league of left-wing film workers, the famous director Zheng Junli has directed many classic films such as “The Spring River Flows East”, “Crow and Sparrow”. That night, Zheng Junli’s son Zheng Dali also came to the ceremony. Zheng Dali, who inherited his father’s career, is an excellent director and producer. He said: “My father is a left-wing filmmaker. Shanghai is where his film career started. I am honored to inherit his film dream, and his love for the China’s film industry.” Zheng Dali said that to be a film maker is his lifelong bless, “I’d like to extend my gratitude for the times, for Shanghai, and for film!”
At the awards ceremony, the winners of the 24th 赌博app Golden Goblet Awards were announced one by one. And Chinese and foreign filmmakers and the audience witnessed this glorious moment.
